Kate is a graphic artist and painter. She enjoys using acrylics as well as dabbling in charcoal and pastel chalk. Her strongest influences remain the colors, the smells, and the visionary splendors of the beautiful state of New Mexico. There, everything is incredibly true and clear. The colors vibrant and bold, the smell of piñon lingers in the air, and the contrasting landscape is spectacular. The Spirit of New Mexico and its many ancestors lives in me, providing the inspiration and motivation of one of my chosen mentors. I hope you can see and feel it in my paintings.
Kate resides in the countryside of Damascus, Maryland.
